FAQ’s

  • Your beautiful self as well as nude underwear if you would like to try on any of our sample dresses.

  • One on one consult - R250 cash or EFT Champagne one on one consult R400 cash or EFT Online consult R250 EFT

  • Our quotes include 3 fittings which makes it very important for you to verbalize any queries you may have about the dress at each fitting. All changes or questions must be answered at each fitting. Additional alterations will be accounted for at R250 a fitting and alterations after the 3rd fitting will be charged per hour.

  • They can be anything from 30 minutes to an hour. The 3rd fitting is usually quicker as this is your collection fitting.

  • Yes we do, be sure to discuss that at your consultation and bring pictures or ideas to the consultation so that we can quote you on them.

  • We require a 50% deposit to secure the order in order to get the fabric and start the process. The remaining 50% is due on or before collection when you are happy with the final product.

  • The dress style down to the last detail is discussed, fabrics, the dress making process, we as professionals in our field will also advise you where necessary on style types for your body type and colours for your skin tone.

  • Three people are able to come to a fitting including the bride.

  • We offer a dry cleaning service of R450 per dress after your wedding day.

  • Lace is designed and is produced according to current trends, if you are specific about the type of lace and we don't have it in stock, we will try as best as we can to source the lace from our suppliers around the world.

I did not try on one dress, I did not even think of any other designs. I had this picture in my mind of what I would want for me, not knowing whether it would suit my body type or not. I didn’t even know whether it was something that could be done… but after I observed my sister’s wedding dress journey with Kelly, who also made our bridesmaids dresses then, I just knew that Kelly would be the perfect person to ask to help me realise this dream I had. The process felt so effortless with Kelly's assistant, Anine always ready to answer a question and reply to a message and Kelly never saying no to any crazy ideas we had. Anything and everything was possible, because the talent and professionalism along with the warmth and kindness made every step of creating my fairy tale wedding dress one of pure joy and excitement. Kelly is so accommodating and calm, to stress about 100 things around the wedding, the making of my wedding dress was not one of them.

I loved how the big tulle skirt gave the dress some drama and depth and that I could have that shock-factor with the ultra-high slit and the beaded garment once the skirt came off. Not only did I feel like my dress was so absolutely beautiful, but it was also so comfortable. I can truly say that Kelly and her team brought the idea I had to life and it was even better than I imagined it would be. I cannot thank them enough for making such a massive contribution to our special day. For creating the most beautiful bridesmaid dresses and a stunning flower girl dress and all this without anything ever being too much effort. Kelly and Anine’s enthusiasm and positive mood always made me feel so excited and safe, safe to know that the making of my wedding dress was going to be a great success and so I can say, the proof is in the pudding.
